Gah, TomorrowLand is the one I want the most! Hopefully this is just a fluke.

So since people are getting the DVDs of wave 3, are we going to know if anything is censored? Remember in the first wave, 3/4 had some censorship with Disneyland USA being hit the hardest, and Davy Crockett being the only one 100% uncensored.

I just got shipping confirmation from DDD for all 4 of the Disney Treasures. I find it a little odd since they're not even listed on the DDD website that I can find. But there's a sliver of hope that TomorrowLand is coming out.

DDD usually pulls items from the website when they sell out of it and aren't sure when more are coming.

Pulled from the release calander and not available for sale from the site.

Sounds like a low production run for this particular one.

I hope my Amazon order makes it. I'm going to check Costco and BB, CC on release day and buy em out!

Yea I hope my amazon order makes it too. Though they don't say it's out of stock so I guess it must be fine.

Well, the distribution company I work for has been shipping it out along with the other 3 for the past 2 weeks, so who knows...

I just got my shipping confirmation today (on all except Tomorrowland-which I did not order). For anyone interested it was ordered on Feb 24.

105,000 Tomorrowlands seems like enough to go around to me.

This is so tiny when you consider how many copies Nemo sold.

Yeah, but 'Tomorrowland' wasn't the highest grossing animated movie of all time. Surely, that helped inflate Nemo's DVD sales some.

I don't think 'Tomorrowland', or most (all?) of the Disney Treasures, are marketed at the kid audience that was responsible for the extremely high sales on 'Nemo'. (Not to say that everybody who bought it was a kid, just that the kids are what made it huge.)

That's plenty, given the sales rate/demand for previous tins.

the online store i buy from listed some time ago that they were shipping these 4 titles soon, but i looked again just now and the Tomorrowland cover was removed.. i did a search for it, it was still in their database but you couldn't order it and it said that the title had been discontinued by the studio.

Does anyone know why Disney didn't number these tins like on the previous waves...kinda spoils their collectability!?

They are numbered, they have a certificate inside with a number.

My guess is that there were an awful lot of damaged tins previously. They even repackaged quite a number in some sort of chest case (supposedly because of these damaged tins):

.

It's just practically impossible to produce extra tins with specific numbers.

Now they can just produce an extra (say) 10.000 tins of each title and send them out to retailers that have received damaged tins. The actual numbering is in the package now, where it's safe.....

Received an e-mail from DVD Pacific informing me that Tomorrowland was cancelled also. Wish there was some sort of confirmation on wether it is cancelled or not from Disney on their web sites. On the bright side all 3 of the others have shipped from DVD Pacific.

Has anyone's order on Amazon moved to shipping soon? I placed an order in October and they are still listed as shipping in December. :O

I placed it in two orders (they were originally listed as coming out on two seperate dates) at Amazon. My order with Front Lines and Tomorrrowland is shipping soon, and the order with Donald and Mickey is still waiting.
