Back to School - now anamorphic?

Someone on another forum claims Back to School has been quitely released as anamorphic. Is this true? None of the DVD retailers I have seen list it as such.

Although I would surely upgrade my DVD, this is on movie I tend to watch FullFrame. Over the years, there are some movies, that have been on TV so often in Full Frame, it becomes strange to watch them in Widescreen. Ever notice that?... Back to School, Ferris Bueller, Better Off Dead... they all seem strange watching in Widescreen... lol.. just a note.

I do know know what you mean, though I still have to watch in OAR. :)

seems less strange on a 16:9 set. :)

Please let this be true. I love this movie.

I expect a special edition release, to capitalize on the planned Cedric The Entertainer remake...

The package claims it is anamorphic.

new packaging? Might they have upgraded like Criterion did with Charade, but they forgot to tell anyone?

I'm pretty sure the package I saw when it first came out (99? '00?) did not say enhanced for widescreen tvs, so I passed. I got Richard III instead. Rodney would be so disappointed.
