Is the Super Mario Bros. movie in widescreen?

I admit it, I enjoy this piece of crap movie. It's so cheap on DDD, I was thinking of buying it, but it doesn't say if it's widescreen or not. That's really my only requirement when buying a movie.

I am pretty sure this movie is in garbage screen.
Which actually means the film is best viewed while looking at it sitting in the trash.

According to the back of the packaging, it is 1.85:1 widescreen.

Well I just bought it, so I'll be sure to put it in the garbage when it arrives and see how it looks!

I guess people will buy anything. Which explains why Jaws: The Revenge was a popular DVD

Nice threadcraps, people...

I think everyone tends to discount those of us who buy movies that may seem worthless to other people, but hold great nostalgia value to us.

I watched Super Mario all the time as a kid, therefore I want the movie in my collection.
