Married with Children - Season 3?

I have seen Married with Children on FX in random order bu never in the order it came. I have enjoyed season 1 & 2 and I just finished season 2. Some of my favorite episodes are in season 9. I can't wait....anyone know when they will release season 3?

rvd1083 04-13-04 03:25 PM

2 just came out so there's probably atleast a good six month wait for S3

jmj713 04-13-04 03:49 PM

Less than that. I believe it was only 5 months between 1 and 2.

PixyJunket 04-13-04 03:56 PM

Bring it on!! I've already worn out season 2. -wink-

LasVegasMichael 04-13-04 04:01 PM

No official announcements yet, but along with the others, I would expect about a 5 month span between seasons. Although I am not a Huge fan of the Jefferson seasons (really liked Steve), the show never really took a dive (save for the season 7 with Seven), and even when it did, it bounced back great in 8.

Keep your eye on www.tvshowsondvd.com or just here, as we all know that a thread will be created within seconds of the announcement.

Can't wait to get my hands on season 3. The show gets better as it goes on. Can't wait for the season where Bud becomes Grand Master B.

Living Dead 04-13-04 05:18 PM

The Grand Master B thing was hilarious. And Kelly calling him Bed Wetter B in front of his girlfriends...classic.

Fok 04-13-04 05:25 PM

Kelly starts looking better as the season's go on as well. :)

QuiGonJosh 04-13-04 05:40 PM

Need more MWC...now!

RobCA 04-13-04 05:40 PM

Season 3 is my favorite, so it can't come out soon enough for me.

I'm planning to stop after Season 5. IMO, it went way downhill after that.

YMMV ;)

I can't wait for season 3....I finally got around to getting the first 2

Me007gold 04-13-04 08:44 PM

aggreed, cant wait for it to come out. but with all these shows from the past coming on dvd, iam starting to run out of money, and space... oh well!

DVDHO 04-13-04 10:47 PM

Me to,I wish they would come out with like 5 or 6 seasons a year instead of this 2 a year,by the time all seasons are out it will be like 2009 and I cant wait that long,I thought seasons 1-9 where great but then went down hill during the later years.

I can't wait for Season 3 so I can finaly see the controversial "See you in court" episode

You can see that episode right now on DVD. The "Lost Ep" is on the volume 1 of the best of MWC

PixyJunket 04-14-04 09:44 AM

Season 3 is probably the best "vintage" MwC season.

Seasons 4-6 probably have my most favorite episodes though.. and this is when the show became a little more slapstick and cartoony.

what season started the cheers and applause after a character came into the show at the begining.

According to TVTome, in the Season 4 ep "You Gotta Know When To Fold 'Em". That was also the first episode after David Garrison left the show. Coincidence? :D

I sincerely doubt it, but I could be wrong. I thought most people liked Steve over Jefferson.

I think I will start a poll over that in the TV forum, just to see.

RobCA 04-15-04 09:46 PM

I doubt it too; I was just kidding. The timing does seem kinda odd though.

FWIW, I definitely liked Steve over Jefferson.

I luv this show its my favorite and i will buy every season :)

Fok 04-16-04 09:13 PM

Actually I thought Jefferson was better than Steve. His avoidence to work and how he'd laugh at Al's jokes against Marcy was funny.

PHMustang2000 04-17-04 10:06 AM

I think I like Jefferson more than Steve. I just thought he was funnier and was kinda like Peg in a way too lol. At least Jefferson got off the couch once and awhile lol

paradicelost 04-18-04 08:19 AM

I've already watched season 2 to death as well, so i'm looking forward to S3.
I like Jefferson better as well, but i think its because i didn't really get into the show until i was around 15, and by then Steve had already left and i actually was watching the show with Jefferson's first appearance(well as Jefferson anyway, not counting the Its a bundy life episode, or whatever it was called). Plus i'm a big fan of the NoMaam episodes.

Judremy 04-18-04 09:14 AM

Well IMHO, the show definately took a turn for the worse around season 6 (when Katey Segal was pregnant IRL). After that of course was season 7 with the WORST child actor ever. While season 6 did have Grand Master B, it was also "all a dream". Last season for me will probably be 5 which I think is the season where Kelly becomes a waitress among other things.
