V: Television Series? Any info?

I'm a huge fan of the V miniseries and V: The Final Battle, but I have never seen the series that came afterward. I hear it wasn't the best as far as quality, but I'd still love to see it on DVD. Does anyone have any info about it?

There was a chat recently with a WB exec. He said it was in the works.

Are we talking about a new release? I have both the mini-series and The Final Battle -- I bought them both almost 2 years ago.

You talking about a re-release as Markathome said?

I've got them both on DVD. Watch them a couple times a year.

Saw that too. http://www.tvshowsondvd.com should have the info from that chat.

Frankly, the Series paled in comparison to the 2 miniseries.

Yes, I was talking about the weekly series, not the 2 miniseries. I've never seen it at all, but am interested in taking a look.

The series definately paled compared to the mini-series, and the second mini-series paled compared to the first.

Still, the first 4-6 episodes of the series were pretty enjoyable--well worth the money if you like the V saga.

I'm a huge fan of "V" - but the short-lived series was horrible...asolutely horrible. It would best be forgotten. I don't think it would be worth picking up unless there are a ton of bonus features with the discs.

I remember being hyped when I heard V would be back as a television series.. back in 1985 (when I was 15) but it was horrible - but it nice to see how some of the characters moved on or get disposed of .
