B5-Never saw an episode. Ordered The Gathering/In the Beginning, and then S1, and plan on getting the rest.

What's Happening-Ordered Season 1 having never seen an episode, although I saw a few eps of WH Now.

Only saw a handful of eps of Good Times & Green Acres, but bought 2 seasons of GT and 1 of GA.

Bought the Clerks animated series having only seen the movie.

The series that I bought blindly are:

Buffy the Vampire Slayer
Angel
Firefly
Spaced (R2)
The Office (R2)
Roswell

I am debating on picking up Alias blindly, but haven't fully convinced myself yet.

So far I have enjoyed every show I have bought blindly.

I think, like a lot of people, I generally trust the studio producing the work. A&E imports from Britain, BBC, Hallmark, Masterpiece Theatre etc. are where my tastes run. Also, anything produced by the Royal Shakespeare Company (UK).

Yeah, I bought a box set of those too. Arabian Nights, The Odyssey, Jason and the Argonauts, Moby Dick, and Lost Empire. The Odyssey and Jason were pretty good, Lost Empire was dumb, and Moby Dick was boring. Arabian Nights only watched the first act.

I´m really like blind buying stuff. I know myself and my taste so well (plus I do extensive research) that I very rarely regret buying movies/tv series blindly. Since I never watch TV, almost all the TV stuff I have is bought unseen. Among them are:

Buffy series 1-6
Angel series 1-4
Babylon 5 series 1-4
Alias seasons 1 and 2
Smallville season 1
Kung-Fu season 1

And I´m happy as a peach about each and every one of them. Go me!

B.O.B is the only TV set I have ever bought without watching it 1st. I do not have HBO, so I could not watch the series when it was on.

Twin Peaks. Saw a bare minimum of episodes back in the day. Am dying to get S2 to see what happens. Too bad it looks like it won't be available in Region 1 until Fall of 2005 (ugh).

My blind tv series buy was "Pink Lady.... (& Jeff)"

It was definitely worth it! It's wonderfully awful!
