Something about that picture doesn't compute.

Keepcase - Warners.

Hmmmm.

Grabastic 03-17-04 07:49 PM

WB produces a keepcase release once in a while. i've got a few in my library.

Rainman15 03-17-04 07:49 PM

Woohoo, I've been waiting a long while for this one too.

shizawn 03-17-04 08:43 PM

Hmmmm.

A lot of pre-release cover art from WB is shown as a keep case but released otherwise.

Either way, great news. I can add to my Arnold collection, holding strong at 15. Come on Universal, lets have a OAR Twins and Kindergarten Cop!

This is great news. Now I can finally have all the Schwarzenegger barbarian films. However, I bet it comes in a snapper.

Geofferson 03-18-04 08:34 AM

Awesome cover art!

demonio 03-18-04 04:42 PM

we got Flight of The Navigator in June, now Red Sonja in July, if we could get The Garbage Pail Kids Movie and The Monster Squad in August & September I'll be one happy mang!

Eric F 03-18-04 04:58 PM

I hope this isn't from the same transfer they've been showing on HBO-HD last month. It looks terrible.

mrwilson 03-18-04 07:39 PM

I thought it looked great except for that fact it was MAR'd to 1.78:1

etrnlevol 03-31-04 02:19 AM

What's up with the "Dubbed, Subtitled" preorder for Red Sonja at Amazon?

Maybe it is just me, but that doesn't make sense :whofart: or do they consider Arnold's English that bad it has to be dubbed? :p

Grabastic 03-31-04 03:37 AM

i think the dubbing part is something similar to what was done in the original Mad Max, where Mel Gibson had to go back and re-record his dialogue for American audiences, i guess to thin out his Australian accent and make it more intelligible. i haven't seen RS in a while, but i think i recall Brigitte Nielsen having to do a fair bit of that in it.

i could be wrong though.

etrnlevol 03-31-04 04:06 AM

Good point. That is a possible reason. Either way it should be interesting to see what happens.

Living Dead 03-31-04 01:31 PM

Defintiely a must buy.

Zman 03-31-04 02:37 PM

Very nice indeed, I used to watch this movie over and over on VHS, can't wait to pick this one up!

Stupid guilty pleasures

I'd like to see them put 5.1 tracks on there, but I guess you can't ask for everything........this movie solidifies Ahnold's legend, his whole basic role in the movie was to show his strength by lifting boulders and going "Yeaaaaaaaaaashhh"

We love you Ahnold, get out of politics please!!
