Hey all, I think its been posted what was spoken during the HTF Chat. But I thought I'd mention what movies will be getting the 2-disc treatment according to the transcript.

This titles were discussed as not being re-released currently:
Ben-Hur
The Maltese Falcon :(


Of course there may be more coming and some of these won't be out till 2006!

It'll be interesting to see what they can do to merit a 2-disc release of Purple Rain. I don't see Prince as the type that would sit still for a commentary or anything like that, and with his newfound religion, I don't see him doing anything that will give more money to Wendy & Lisa.

GWTW is LOOOOONG overdue. (So is Titanic, but that's a whole different story).

Let's not forget Meet Me in St. Louis due Apr 6.

Isn't Goodfellas slated for a two disc release as well? I sure as hell hope so as it is also long overdue.

I will buy everyone of these that doesn't have Prince. REALLY looking forward to Rebel.

Looks like I'll be rebuying some movies. Can't wait though.

Wasn't Mean Streets Slated as a 2 disc treatment as well?

Heat and Dog Day Afternoon are two of my favorite movies and I will gladly re-buy them. I'm glad I waited on Blazing Saddles.

Love Prince's music, I just think he's a horrific actor and Purple Rain is a horrifcly bad movie. I guess we can also fit in those who like bad movies too :) ;) :)
