In the past few weeks we've noticed various threads in DVD forums such as The Home Theater Forum where people are asking about Soap: Season 2. We decided to look into it and we're happy to report that season 2 is scheduled for release in July.
We don't expect an official announcement from Columbia TriStar for a few months, but at least you know when to expect it.

Soap - The Complete 2nd Season is on-the-way, scheduled for a July 20th street date. Look for more comedy from TV's most dysfunctional family: Two sisters, Jessica Tate and Mary Campbell, and their families have all sorts of problems including sarcastic butlers, a war hero who's still living in 1940s wartime, and Mary's second husband, who once thought he could make himself invisible and was abducted by aliens.
The price is just $29.95 SRP for this 3-DVD set, which has a running time of 566 minutes. Look for several supplements to make it to this release:
