Any specs on Dawn of the Dead?

Mondo Kane 03-13-04 04:30 PM

I wonder if Witchboard holds up. Havent seen it in well over 15 years but remember liking it.

Still awaiting specs on the mult-disc of Dawn cuz I came awful close to picking up the current version today.

Knew about Sledge Hammer S1 (REALLY looking forward to that one).

Glad to hear that they are continuing Three's C (hopefully they'll stick to that).

The standard version of Creepshow 2 is already out from Anchor Bay. I remember being pretty pleased with the transfer -- I can't imagine this would be too remarkable an improvement.

Giddy about Night of the Demons. One more Laserdisc from my collection replaced....

SledgeHammer! Woohoo!!

Nihlistic violence that would make Tyler Durden flinch.

Anyone remember what "Progressive Entrapment" means. That phrase was in Witchboard I think.

I picked up Dawn for $11.99. I couldn't wait.

If "Witchboard" had an OAR of 1.85:1 (matted), I hope they include a fullframe version.

Evilspeak 16x9

I own an R2 release and it's edited. :( Can't wait for the R1 Anchor Bay release!! Hopefully, it'll be restored with the deleted footage! Like the secretary being disemboweled / eaten by the devil-pigs!

It's funny you mention that. If they (A.B.) could just get the source material for R3 they could stop bringing out multiple editions for this movie. The R3 film source material is VASTLY superior to what Anchor Bay has (and it's also got the Sheila shot intact). With the R3 out there, it seems like a no brainer in picture quality.

Does anybody have any release dates? I tried accessing Anchor Bay's website but keep getting a Web cannot find server message. Looking forward to Cheerleader Camp and Witchboard. Night of the Demons and The Card Player are also of interest. Thanks.

Why all the nice effort on Creepshow 2,I'd rather see a kick ass Creepshow DVD release.I remember watching Creepshow 2 on VHS and the begining had sort of a featurette and it seriously spoiled all 3 shorts which weren't up to par with the first IMO.A nice cover and all but a Creepshow DVD with the comic book cover would be cool aswell.

Grabastic 07-23-04 08:33 PM

is Creepshow 2 the one with the sludge monster in the lake that kills all the teenage kids? i can't remember. i just know that that short gave me nightmares for months.
