God....

ruk 03-01-04 08:27 PM

i am so getting that

Jericho 03-01-04 08:28 PM

One problem with this is that James Bond's 40th anniversary was two years ago, so who knows about this. Does look extra cool however

LBCrazyFool 03-01-04 08:29 PM

Wow! Let's hope they stick with this. That is one nice looking set

eau 03-01-04 09:00 PM

Yet another Bond boxset

But tempting nevertheless

silentbob007 03-01-04 09:21 PM

I wonder how much that would cost .... whew.

marty888 03-01-04 09:28 PM

If thats for Region 1, I'd like to see what the other regions get (usually get better packaging than us)

Come to think of it, I can't imagine how many of these sets will be damaged. The shipping of this set is gonna be trickery.

whynotsmile 03-01-04 11:10 PM

im guessing it will retail for about 350-400

JesseCuster8 03-01-04 11:50 PM

I'm pretty sure this isn't real. (as in "will be made" real). This company pitches ideas, but the ideas aren't always used. Take a look at some of the other releases like "Death of the Incredible Hulk" on the site. It's the not the art they ended up using. I think companies like this are paid to mock-up packages like this, but really make their money selling the design. Their site seems geared toward doing just that which is why this set is on there. It's the perfect example of something they made, even if it wasn't purchased. I wonder if they're the only company doing the star wars packages, too. As great as the vader box is, I'd much rather the packages match episodes I and II.

I want...I want...although what will I do when Bond 21 comes out? :(

GMLSKIS 03-02-04 12:17 AM

I need to sell my whole Bond collection and get this if this is true. This is so cool!

You would ditch the box set at ebay. Since a year or so after that would come a brand new box set(s).

FuzzyBallz 03-02-04 12:45 AM

Right.... I'm sure that'll fit in the DVD shelf perfectly.

Tarantino 03-02-04 12:47 AM

Looks like a waste of money to me.

I was ready for a cool set and that doesn't look the least bit impressive to me either. The briefcase set was a cool idea but this doesn't really relate to the movies and I can't imagine really storing that thing anywhere and I never fuss about special packaging.

Myster X 03-02-04 01:25 AM

What! No poison dart included? blah!

metaridley 03-02-04 02:54 AM

As one of the biggest Bond fans ever, I have to say that in theory, that concept is kick-ass, grade-A awesome. But in reality, it would suck in numerous ways to add that to my DVD collection. Still, I am heavily anticipating the next Bond boxset, or at the very least, the re-release of all the films, remastered in higher quality picture and sound.

JetSter735180 03-02-04 03:01 AM

I'm sorry guys to tell you this, but the 40th Anniversary past about 2 years ago.

Dr. No came out in 1962, so add 40, so it should be 2002, not 2004...

What boughters me the most, is that DVDanswers is posting wrong information, wich makes me beleive that they do not verify, or conferm their information. I will never visit that site again !
