Finally - Law & Order Season 2

TVShowsonDVD.com is reporting that L&O season 2 will be released on May 4 with a MSRP of $59.95.

No word on any special features, but the article did say that Universal is going to release 3 double-sided discs instead of 6 discs. The claim is that it will save money and shelf space. I don't see much money being saved at $60 for the set. Amazon lists the 6-disc L&O season 1 at $53.95.

The money saved isn't for YOU, it's money that UNIVERSAL saves making the set... which isn't really that great for a consumer, BUT, they may not have released it at all if they had higher production costs, so I'll be happy to have this in any way they're willing to release it.

About time. Of course, I won't start buying until S4 and will stop at S11.

YES! YES!

FINALLY!

I wonder if they will make good on the $10 rebate that was advertised in the S1 set?

Either way, looking forward to this one!

I can't believe it is finally happening. It's been what, two years?
Either way, better late than never.

I was wondering about that too. I got all my stuff sitting there waiting to claim my rebate, just no season 2 to actually buy.

And hell yeah, finally. I was worried about this one never seeing the light of day.

With a $59.95 retail, my guess would be mid to low forties at Costco and DDD once available.

Red Dog......if you don't buy S2, they may choose not to sell S3, S4 etc.

Law & Order is my favorite show of all-time, but I don't like the first 3 seasons enough to invest in them. I am not going to spend $150-200 just to help push them to release later seasons.
