"Runaway Jury", my thoughts:
I watched this film last night. As cinematic entertainment, I enjoyed it quite a bit. Too bad Gene & Dustin did not have more time on screen acting face to face.
I thought the use of the Gun Industry as a bad guy did not help the film. Another bad guy would have made the cinematic story better IMHO.
But my main problem with the film is the use of jury tampering as a means to a "good" end. Whether there an underground industry that delivers up specific jury decisions or not, any jury tampering undermines our legal system. Hopefully the kind of jury tampering shown is more imagination than fact.
