Television Shows that get the royal treatment?

How many TV Shows out there get the royal treatment for DVD?
When I mean Royal Treatment..I mean like
Anamorphic Widescreen and Dolby Digital 5.1 and Subtitles in more than 1 language?

ER comes to mind, but I'm not into the ST or XF stuff, so I can't speak for those sets.

ER is pretty loaded, including WS and plenty of extras.

Im happy with my 24 and Sopranos season sets...all WS, though i think the 24 sets only have Dolby 2.0. The Sopranos sets have 5.1, and a couple cool commentaries on each.

Using your criteria, a quick perusal of my collection yields:

Alias
Babylon 5
Battlestar Galactica is 5.1, but presented in its OAR of 4:3
ER is anamorphic widescreen, but presented with its original audio
Coupling is anamorphic widescreen, but presented with its original audio

Although I dislike the show (and thusly don't have it), I do know that 24 is anamorphic widescreen too, season one in 2.0 and season two in 5.1

Not widescreen and 5.1 sound - but how about a loving restoration on a 40+ year old program so good that it looks like it was shot last year? Commentary on every episode? Pop-up production notes in a subtitle track? Extensive extras made for especialy for each episode? Trailers and network bumpers? Archive footage and outtakes? Isolated soundtracks where possible? Cleaned up special effects?

What show? Doctor Who.

The Restoration Team - a group of fans within the industry that work on each Who release - do some really stunning work. Most TV shows are green with envy on the quality lavished upon each disc.

And occasionaly they do take the time to remix the old mono sound to a 5.1 mix. Not often, but occasionaly.

Widescreen should have nothing to do with the "royal treatment" since most tv shows arent filmed that way.

Any of the HBO series (Sex and the City, Sopranos, Six Feet Under, etc.) are all very nice and very expensive releases. How about the royal treatment for Aqua Teen or Space Ghost? Those are some nice DVD sets

I'd have to say Alias, Six Feet under, and Sopranos as the main ones. I was shocked at how Good Alias came out to be on DVD

Highlander's video isn't anything spectacular on DVD (it never was, esp in the intentionally noisy flashbacks), but the extras and 5.1 audio are excellent improvements.

I have been extremely pleased with the quality of the Futurama.
-Commentaries on ever episode
-Multiple Language tracks(I always enjoyed hearing other countries take on the characters voices)
-Picture quality
-SUPERB packaging
