Captain Kangaroo season sets?
 

I just heard that Bob Keeshan, known to everyone as Captain Kangaroo, has died. He entertained a lot of children around the world on that show and he shall be missed. RIP Bob.

Anyways, I was wondering if there will any chance that a studio will release the season sets for this show for nostalgia sake. It can also still be good for children to watch today even though most of the themes may be outdated.

Wasn't that a daily show? And it ran for almost 30 years. You're looking at a "Best Of", if anything.

The show ran for 36 years. I think "season sets" are unlikely. But a 'best of' tribute DVD set would definitely be welcome.

Rhino should release a 1,300 disc set of the Complete Captain Kangaroo with a $15K MSRP. I'd be all over that!

I might go for a "Best of" if it were packaged nicely,.

I hope they do a Best Of. Used children's tapes aren't the best of quality.

I was thinking about this today and how much I enjoyed the show when I was a kid. I think when I have kids I'd like to throw this on and see if it takes with them - it'd be great to have some sort of "Best Of" set in the future. It would be highly likely that I'd pick that up.
