New upcoming Criterion release info...don't think it's old news...

I have a senior level film class with Stephen Prince, the prof who has done commentary on Criterion releases like Ikiru and Straw Dogs. I asked him if Criterion had contacted him about doing more commentaries and he said that he had just recently recorded commentary for Kurosawa's Stray Dog but that it wasn't out yet, and that the company knows he has a ton of interest in doing Sugata Sanchiro.

I don't remember having read anything talking about the release of Stray Dog, so I figured I would post it here...

This guy gives some of the best commentaries I've ever heard. I especially liked the one he did for Red Beard.

I took Intro to Film with him, and am currently taking The Film Director...a whole semester split between Charlie Chaplin and Kurosawa! I'm freaking loving it!

If this is some cruel joke, I'm going to go postal.

Thanks for the info. Stray Dog: CC has been rumored for some time now. This just puts some more meat on the sandwich (so to speak).

I read it as "what", too.

The "what" was a more interesting question . . .
