In regards to what?

The 1962 & 1991 versions are on DVD.

Both have anamorphic transfers and the 1991 version is a 2-Disc set.

I haven't heard or read anything about that one. I'm not even sure what that would consist of since different studios have the rights to some of his best work. Not to mention most on DVD such as Goodfellas, Heat, & Raging Bull need to be re-released first.

I believe Warner could do a set eventually with Mean Streets, Goodfellas, Heat and... I have no clue really.

Still not sure whether you are referring to the films, of the two posters in this thread.

BTW dvd-ho78(DTS), Martin Scorcese didn't have anything to do with Heat.

The 1991 Cape Fear 2 disc DVD rocks! The anamorphic picture is a sight to behold, and it has 5.1 DD and DTS sound. Extras are good (although an audio commentary would of been icing on the cake). The documentary, however is very informative and entertaining. This is an excellent DVD set! Pick it up, it's cheap at Wal-Mart!

I'll chalk that to not enough sleep or something.

Tucks tail between legs with shame.

BTW, I like how you can save a whole $ 0.46 off retail by getting Cape Fear (1991) from DDD.

That is a bit different. Warner had the rights to the majority of the films to begin with (all but 3 of the 9 right?). I'm not saying a Scorcese box couldn't happen but I don't know what it would consist of. As I said some of his best work is distributed through many studios. If you can shed some insight please do so. I haven't heard any news about the studios aggreeing to do a box. I don't want to steer isamu in the wrong direction.

There is a Scorsese box set in the works from Warners. It's been continually delayed. It's supposed to have some combonation of Mean Streets, Alice Doesn't Live Here Anymore, Who's That Knocking, After Hours, and Goodfellas

Well, he did name it one of his favorite movies of the '90s.

Maybe someone could put out a box set of "Movies that Martin Scorsese Likes"!

Borders had a sale like that recently. He probably did that himself.
