Where's NYPD Blue 03?
 

I thought it was going to be released around 1/14/04?

Some of you are no doubt anxiously awaiting the 3rd Season of NYPD Blue on DVD, especially after our story last September mentioning how Fox's "TV DVD" consumer site was showing a 1/13/04 street date.

Since that site was recently updated with items scheduled for February and March street dates - items we've gotten complete press releases from Fox for! - and yet we still hadn't gotten complete details about NYPD Blue - Season 3, we decided to follow up with the studio about that package.

Unfortunately, Fox's response was that the information at that site is in error. We were told that the listing of NYPD Blue - Season 3 for a January date is incorrect, and that in fact nothing is scheduled yet.

We always hate to be the bearer of bad news, but we didn't want to leave fans of the show hanging either, wondering what happened. Stay tuned, and once Fox announces this title for real, we'll be on top of it.

That news story was from 12/09. No updates that I noticed as yet.

I, too, am hoping for a street date soon. Got screwed with Law and Order (nothing after the first season), so NYPD Blue is all I have to look forward too (until Hill Street Blues comes out hopefully one day).
