Too late for me, since I bought the dts version a year or so ago. Man, still can't wait for the SE though!

Wow, thank god I accidentally bought the Fullscreen version and had to return it, otherwise I would have kept it (if it had been widescreen.) I hope it has DTS, because the last release had it and I was about to get it for 11 bucks from dvd empire. This is so sweet hehe.

One of my favorite Arnie movies! Skip all the fluff and give me a new pristine transfer along with a WM9 HD copy :)

I have to laugh at this announcement, only because it comes maybe 2 months after I finally broke down and picked up a copy of the film on dvd. Not such a big deal though, as I only paid $8 for the barebones release.

Is this going to be any different from the Australian 2-disc special edition? If it has other/better stuff, I may pick it up as well. The Australian one has served me well.

You know...unless this things got a hour doc. and a commentary with Ahnuld and Carl Weathers and outtakes...I aint buyin...I'm half expecting some half-assed extras to tie into AlienVSPredator...

Still no word yet as to whether this will be a NEW transfer for Predator: SE. That is the only way I am re-purchasing it.

I highly doubt it, as it is probably be the same transfer as the other regions' special edition. The special edition is kinda neat, but I believe it is the same transfer as the "DTS" version of Predator available here in the states.

There is a lot of stuff on the SE (many people on the forum own it) and it comes in a neat package, at least the R2 version. Deleted scenes, documentaries, etc.

Sounds good, but I must say, I wasn't that impressed with even the DTS soundtrack. I think it could have been much better than it was.
