Se7en slip case

I just bought the Platinum series 2 disc edition of Se7en last week and when I ever so gently pulled that damn security tape off of the top of the slip case it pulled a little bit of the black coating off of the edges. I am very anal about how my DVD cases look so my question is would New Line replace my slip case as in other cases lately with other studios I have read about on here. If so, does anyone know how to contact New Line?, I tried their web site with no success.

Probably no luck in asking them. But it doesn't hurt to ask. Don't know the phone number at all, so what help am I? :)

How about a black Sharpie instead?

well, since we're takhing about New Line...

When I unpacked my TTT Platinum Edition, and removed the carton that was on the back (with all the features listed) a little amount of glue was hard to remove, then it finally ripped off the casing, you cannot estimate the amount of curse I invented in that instant!!!...

Some othe member of a local forum had the same problems.

One guy wrote a e-mail to New Line's SC to ask them to send him a replacement cover...

I then, (and about 15 other member of that forum) wrote them too...

They replied to my e-mail on the same day, and they asked my adress for shipping...5 days later, a brand new cover was in the mailbox, and they didn't even asked for me to return the damaged box!!!

So you could try...

Who would want the slipcover if they didn't buy the DVD? I mean, it's not like the slip cover will fit over a keepcase.

If you can't return the DVDs to the store, contact New Line Home Video by email. When the clear plastic tabs that held my Se7en DVDs in place broke, New Line sent me replacement packaging for free within about a week.

I am the same way about the DVD Case!

If only Chuck Noland had been marooned with a Sharpie and some duct-tape instead of a volleyball!

Thanks everyone for your input, and thank you for the New Line contacts. As for the black Sharpie, I too have "borrowed" many from my job, but I will only use this method as a last resort.
