i love the fast paced release schedule however some bad news is that A&E was unsuccessful in their attempts to acquire the rights to the Law & Order crossover.

Sweet! I was just thinking about this yesterday and hoping A&E would keep with the quick release schedule.

I am disappointed about the L&O crossovers though. Maybe NBC will release a disc of nothing but the crossover episodes especially if they abandon season sets.

Great news. I still have a lot of catch-up to do. Only half-way through S1/2.

How come these get rolled out so quickly, yet Universal can't get off their ass and pump out more season sets of Law & Order. :mad:

A&E is doing a great job with these sets, and Deep Discount's prices on them make it even better! I just started season 3 this week, despite having it since October, and am glad to hear about S4 coming along soon.

A&E Home video has announced that Homicide: Life on the Street season 4 will be released on March 30, 2004. All 22 episodes from the fourth season will be included in this 6 disc set that will carry a suggested retail price of $99.95. Unfortunately a deal for the Law & Order cross-over episode could not be worked out with Universal Studios, but an episode synopsis will be included in the set. Special features are as follows:

Interview With Barry Levinson, Tom Fontana, Henry Bromell, David Simon, and James Yoshimura

Commentary With Clark Johnson and Writer Anya Epstein on "The Hat"

Song Listing

Cast and Crew Biographies


Season 5 is also tentatively scheduled for an August release. This date may change.
