Crimson Tide SE & Enemy of the State SE coming 5/4/04

This is straight from digitalbits.com

Speaking of Buena Vista/Disney, here's a look at some of the titles to look for from the studio in May (street date 5/4): The Big Green, Herbie Goes Bananas, Herbie Goes to Monte Carlo, Herbie Rides Again, Miracle in Lane 2, Now You See Him, Now You Don't, The Strongest Man in the World and the Crimson Tide: Special Edition and Enemy of the State: Special Edition. That comes direct from the studio.

Ugh...wonder what the stats are gonna be on Crimson Tide. Again...other regions get DTS. I'm assuming we're not going to be that lucky. Guess I should just hold on to that and Ransom for the DTS tracks (although they're non-anamorphic).

Great news. I've been waiting for Crimson Tide forever!!! I love that movie but really don't like that non-anamorphic disc.

Crimson Tide: SE

-Amaray Case

Enemy of the State re-release
-Theatrical trailer
-The Making Of Enemy Of The State feature (30 minutes)
-The Showdown featurette
-Deleted Scenes ('Jones gets bitten', 'Confrontation at the limousine', 'Dean searches for Brill' and Feilder digs the nanny')
-English, Swedish, Finnish, Norwegian Subtitles

When I read this news I was so happy! I can't wait to get my hands on a Special Edition of Enemy of the State, it's one of my favorite movies. I hope it at least has the features on the R2 and R4 release, if not more!

I'll be hoping for commentary tracks on each by Tony Scott. Glad I held out on buying these for so long.

Enemy of the State was one of the first DVD's I bought. Actually it may have been the first, I can't recall. Anyway, I'll have to sell it before everyone realizes there is a special edition coming out soon, hehe.
