As a full time Best Buy wage slave, I can assure you that working at a Best Buy store does not get you the movies any faster. A lot of times the movies don't come to the store until the day before "New Release Tuessday". Take Lord of the Rings: Two Towers and Pirates of the Carribean, We didn't get those in the back room until late Monday night.

Target's backroom had Pirates of the Caribbean at least a week before street date, and they had Alex and Emma at least two weeks early. They get a a lot (a lot) of copies of each new DVD. At least 300-500.

If you live close to big cities, you can always find someone breaking the street date. In NYC i know of many places who get all dvds 3-4 weeks before the street date. Typically 3 weeks. Issues and I go to alot of the same places, and you do pay a little more for getting them early, but some movies i dont mind the extra price. F VS J is one im picking up tomorrow.

A shrine for a movie? A true sign of the times that the classical meta-narratives have been replaced by subjective disposable narratives.

This was a fantastic movie. I can't wait to pick this one up myself. I wasn't a big fan of horror/slashers until I watched this one. Great movie!
