OMFG!!! Digital Bits has a pic of cover art for wizards as an upcoming DVD release!!! Did I miss an announcement? Verrry cool if so... :D

Yay! I loved this movie as a teen, and can't wait to see it again...a friend stole my VHS copy.

This was a late Saturday night/cable TV fave of mine when I was a wee lad.

So I don't think you missed an announcement.

This has been in my "Top Ten Most Wanted" since I first bought a DVD player. I just hope it's as good as I remember. I think the cover art is perfect, I wanted a poster of that for my dorm room, but could never find one.

FYI. The artist on the Poster (and hopefully cover) is Willam Stout, great fantasy illustrator

I like the original art, I was simply P.O.'d about this largely unnecessary thread when the cover art is not 'new' and there are presently no new details about this DVD at all. I don't even know if Fox has offically announced that this title is in the pipeline right now, do you?

When I saw this I was hoping for the Fred Savage flick!

Bah!!! Poo on you! The thread is entirely necessary... it is not about new cover art but rather discussion of a much much wanted title apparently finally making it's way to DVD. In case it is not evident from my original post, I was fishing for more info as much as presenting info I had found. Seems I am the only one who has managed to dig up any info, though.
