how is the transfer on Under Siege 1 and 2?
 

Is it anamorphic? Is the DD 5.1 any good? Bestbuy is having both for 10 bucks tomorrow. Thanks

On 1 it's a perfect transfer & sound.
On 2 it's pretty good, a little grain.

Yes, it is on laserdisc and Under Seige 2 is better than Under Seige 1, or, yes, the laserdisc is better than the DVD?

(Both of which are patently silly, though the movie quality could be debated, I guess.)

Sorry RandyC used to have a few hundred copies of Under Seige 2 on laser disc which is why I made my joke.

Also the audio on US 2 kicks major ass!!

U.S. 2 laserdisc does have a great sound.
I figured it wouldn't have sounded as good as the laserdisc on dvd, but I didn't think the laserdisc would have looked better also.
