Does Xmen 1.5 have that extended branching also?

I'm having problems with the 1st X-men DVD. I can't turn off the extended branching on it. I turn it off, but my players (Tosh + Sony) don't do it. It freezes and skips to the alternate scene... Which is not 16x9. Like Chap 8 when Logan is in Xavier's office.
Is 1.5 any better?

Unfortunately, you cannot watch the scenes seperately on the "1.5" disc. They have to be watched in the context of the movie. On the original disc, they're all accessible from a menu.

Also, it shouldn't branch unless you hit enter on your remote control. I don't believe there is even an option to have it automatically include the scenes. Usually, an icon will pop up for behind the scenes and another icon will pop up for deleted scenes.

On the 1st DVD you can choose ON or OFF in the Special Features section.

Choosing OFF, it stills goes to the other scenes. Mine is probably f'ed up.
