where can I find free HQ cover scans for DVDProfiler?

I have been updating all my pics to HQ and I ran into a problem. I am having a hard time finding some of the covers I need. what are some of the places you go to get scans? thanks for any help.

If you are submitting these for the DVD Profiler database, they will no longer accept watermarked scans or those that say "copyrighted material" (as nearly all of DVD Empire's do). If you are not submitting them for the benefit of other users but "locking" the images just for your own discs (which simply saves them to your hard drive) this doesn't matter.

DVD Planet and Amazon have the largest selection of non-watermarked high-res cover scans. Theirs can be submitted for the database.

This is where I go to:

http://www.cdcovers.cc

Covers for DVD, VHS, VCD, and a lot of videogame systems.

NOTE: You need a good pop-up ad blocker for this site. They said on a page of this site that they were trying to block people that have pop-up blocker programs, but I got in with mine on.

It's pretty funny that on the exact same FAQ page where they tell you that you cant download with pop-blockers on, is a whole frame of ads for...pop-up blocker programs.

digitaleyes.net also has a large number of quality scans available, which is where I usually go when I'm submitting to DVDProfiler

I just checked www.digitaleyes.net and didn't see any images that I could use. Is there a part of the site that I am overlooking?

All I saw was tiny thumbnail type images.

Another location I check from time to time is www.dvdtown.com

Some of the covers have 'copyrighted material' on them some don't.

Or you could buy the Premium of Profiler...it gets you higher resulution scans, but not for every movie. I started downloading covers for all my about 600 movies from the web, but then I bought the premium, and I find that most of the hi res scans are pretty good...at least to me. They are not quite as good as the covers I download, but they are smaller in size when you get them from the premium
