Any titles you regret NOT picking up in the recent DDD sale?

2 weeks ago i was kicking myself for overspending during the DDD sale (grand total ~$450)
but now my first order just came in yesterday and i got to watch my first Jimmy Stewert western- Bend Of The River.
Great Movie!
now i'm kicking myself for not picking up more of them- as well as some other things
like the Twilight Zone boxsets,
George Washinton (Criterion)
and a few other misc. things.

anybody else have regrets over what they didn't pick up and what did you miss?

I have several on my Christmas list that I would have loved to pick up, but I have to leave something for other people to get me. I'm always bummed when I have to go out after Christmas and buy the movies I didn't get but passed up on great pre-Christmas sales.

There are always titles I want, so there were a bunch of things I had to put aside. However, if I had to pick one, probably Christmas Story SE. Although, I'm hoping this one will go on sale at BB soon...

Well, I quit when I went a little over $500 total on the various orders , and while there's a list a mile long of titles still to get at some point down the road, the only thing I'm really sorry I forgot about is NYPD BLUE -Season 2

I regret not buying all three seasons of Beastmaster. I had no idea DDD had them so cheap. $23.99 is still a great price for 22 episodes, but $19.19 is even better.

I would have liked to have picked up the Blue Planet box set. Really, it was a great sale to get box sets. Too bad they add up so quickly.

I spent 410.00 on my DVDs, and easilly could have spent closer to a thousand if I had a chance. I am sorry I didn't get to catch up on my X Files and Buffy and Angel sets, but for those I did get, and at the prices I got them, I am not too worried. Plus I have plenty to watch for now, and hopefully they will do another sale during another holiday and I can catch up on my other season sets.

I wish I had more money to get more too. Does anyone think they'll do this next year too?

I don't want to go into specifics because this thread would start eating away bandwidth. It's the same old story, the money thing kept me from getting everything I wanted.

The only thing I can really think of that I wish I had purchased is the Kurosawa Four Samurai Classics box set. This is now the second time that it has been on sale for a great price (also with the DVDEmpire sale) and I haven't had the money to buy it either time.

I wish I'd picked up Rashamon, and maybe some other Kurosawa.

The Buster Keaton 11 DVD set. I had my finger on the trigger, but at the last second I opted for the diplomatic solution. (Which translates into simply imagining I bought it, then hoping it'll somehow magically appear on my shelf...)

A few Criterions I'd been longing after for the longest time, but I just can't justify the money for films I haven't seen, but now I *might* like them.

I really wish I had bought the Fassbinder BDR trilogy. I managed to get the Antoine Doinel set, but actually forgot to put the Fassbinder trilogy in my cart! Damn it! I can't believe I forgot. Now I'll be waiting until the next cool deal comes around.

Funny that you should mention the George Washington: CC . . . I've been obsessed with that ever since the sale ended and have been kicking myself for not getting it and the Spartacus: CC. Then, my brother told me (today) that he and his wife would like the Sopranos: Complete First Season for their anniversary (New Year's Eve).

Two weeks later (after having emailed my whole family about the sale) and now he tells me.

The Awful Truth I and II and the Spartacus CC. I saw those mentioned AFTER the sale was over, and could have kicked myself!
