How many items are in your wishlist and how much would it be to obtain them all?

I have 101 items on my Wish List (link in sig) and it would cost, according to DVD Profiler, $2312.62 to get 82 of them.

My list changes too often to even think about it. At one time I would have thought I would have gotten 'Naked Lunch' for whatever price when it came out but that didn't happen. I'm still waiting for someone to sell it to one of my resellers so I can get it for under $15. I'm a deal hound. I flux between 25 to 50 on my want list.

Presently I've got about 400 titles on my wish list, down from about 550 last month. Most of the titles I had urgently wanted were cleared off my list during DDD's big sale. Most of what's left are available from CH so I'll clear them off the list fairly slowly which is okay because I have a huge backlog of unwatched DVDs to deal with.

I've got 24 things on my wish list for a total cost $687 (retail I suppose). 250 separate titles is more than enough to last me for a few years of viewing.

I feel like such a slacker, I only have 4 titles on my Profiler Wishlist with another 3 on my AF list. It would run me about $300 to pick up everything.

I've got 115 items on my wish list currently, although it changes frequently as I think of new things I want. Estimated cost to buy everything would be somewhere around $2600.

I dont use my DVDAF list much...I keep my "needs" in a little black book.

according to my latest update....I'm looking to add around 800 titles. this includes around 200 imports. I've never cared how much I'll spend...but it will be lots.

this list will be cut down by 20...as soon as USPostal gets my orders to me. 4 orders are taking FOREVER to get here. looks like it's back to OVERNIGHT express, from here on out. I should have known better.

No wish list here-the time that elapses from the point I realize I want a title to the point where I purchase it can generally be measured in hours unless it's a preorder or not readily available locally. Being impulsive can be expensive!

I don't have a wish-list either, as I can pretty much afford anything I wish.

My wishlist got wiped out to "0" by the DDD 20% off deal. Time to start building it back up.

I have around 30, but I don't tend to use or update the wishlist much at all. I have an endless list in my mind I wish I could have.

I have about 70 on my list over at DVDAF but alot of those are things that aren't released yet (upcoming Simpsons and South Park seasons account for alot of those)

The only DVDs on my wish list are ones that haven't been released yet.

So how much would I need? Enough to build a time machine.

Of the twenty-six DVDs on my Profiler wish list (though I'm sure there are many, many others), thirteen are pre-release titles, three are OOP (and I won't pay eBay prices for them) and it would currently cost around $180 to buy the other ten (some, like Cromwell, I'm waiting for them to become CH enrollment titles; others, like Alfie, for price reductions.)

There are 93 titles on my DVD Profiler wish list. Ther are another 400-500 films which I would probably buy as soon as they were relesaed (I keep an Excel database of my most-wanted titles, and I concede that many of these may never make it to DVD).

So, if I conservatively estimate 500 DVDs at an average of $18 apiece (since many of these will either be Criterions, or I'll have to import them from overseas), that works out to $9000.

I probably have a couple of thousand, counting films that aren't released yet, although I haven't written most of the titles down... I know I have almost 500 just for manga (graphic novel) titles...

I guess this is what I get for liking silents, slapstick comedies, musicals, classics, 80's movies, horror, anime, sci-fi/fantasy, foreign films, modern Hollywood stuff, etc.

Currently have 144 titles on my wishlist, 127 of those from deep discount dvd would cost me about $2800.

293 owned, 16 on order.

trying to prune that wishlist down.. about as low as i can make it right now.

though having all the movie channels on my dish network, has helped me prune it down.

Another "let's all list essentially meaningless statistics about our collection and not actually discuss anything" thread. Closing.
