Any news on HAPPY DAYS coming to DVD?
I am assuming the reason why this show is not out on DVD is probably because of the heavy music rights associated with it.
All I want are the middle seasons, the ones where Fonzie's jacket is leather, the audience laughs, and Richie is still around.
Now that Gilligan's Island is being released, has anyone heard about anything pertaining to a Happy Days release?

11 seasons, 255 episodes; although the 1st season and last 3 or so can be dismissed.

It's in the works. Paramount showed a coming-attractions trailer at the recent TV DVD Conference in West Hollywood, Calif., and Happy Days was one of the TV shows that was featured as a pending DVD release. No date has been announced.

I hear Arnold is holding up the release.
He doesnt want any footage showing him being a bumbling fool and being listed as Pat instead of Noriyoko in the credits.
