Was the No Doubt Boom Box super limited?
 

Amazon is out of stock, Best Buy is on backorder, and DeepDiscountCD doesn't even have it listed anymore. I saw some for decent prices on eBay, but Amazon sellers are jacking them up to $70.

Is this something I should snag if I see it? (I want it for myself, not for profit.)

I looked on the no doubt site. It is up for sale there, but it doesn't show availability.

I just looked at the track listing... it is really sad that there is only one track from their first album...

At Amazon, it's listed as This item will arrive after December 24.

Hmm, tried picking this up at Best Buy and they sold out the first day. I asked for it for Christmas maybe I'll get it maybe not.

A friend of mine got it, too. I believe it was some kind of two-disc release that get postponed, according to the No Doubt site.

What kind of packaging does this set come in? The local BB had all 4 discs in a CD-sized silver box. Does it come in an Alpha or anything typical of DVD releases?

That is the only kind it comes in (the cd sized box).

I ended up with 2 copies. Is it that rare?

I saw this one at my local BB on Saturday after striking out online. I didn't buy it though, because I was holding out hope of getting it for Christmas. But my wife tells me she didn't get it so I should go buy it if I want it. Hope it's still there when I have a chance to get back...

Barnes and Noble has it online for $35. Free shipping too.

Thanks for the tip! You just saved me 20 bucks - I placed an order with B&N online. Hopefully I get it. I always get nervous when something isn't listed as shipping within 24 hours. This one said 2-3 days.

Also, I think someone near the top of the thread said they couldn't find it on BB online. I found it - it is listed somewhat incorrectly under "The Singles Collection" but still at $53. I thought that seemed expensive. Glad I didn't buy it at the store.
