Stupid Circiut City Put Big Security Sticker on POTC Bare Cover!
If you haven't picked up Pirates Of The Caribbean yet DO NOT go to Circuit City as the IDIOTS there have put a rather large security sticker right on the bare cover of these DVD's! You can not peal these off very good (like the real small BB price stickers). I was going to buy this and the To Live And Die In LA DVD but when I saw this big sticker and the fact that once again these goofs didn't even have a new release in stock (To Live And Die) even though it is on sale for $12.99 this week so I grabbed a flyer and priced matched at BB for To Live And Die and got a POTC that wasn't ruined with a big sticker!

I will not shop at CC until they change their merchandising racks for DVDs. They have got to be the biggest pain in the ass to search through. You pull out a DVD and the DVDs on either side come flopping out. The alphabetizing is atrocious, and if there's only one copy of something in stock, you might as well forget about finding it. The price is very good at CC, but those horrible fixtures make it almost unbearable to shop there.
However, I have found that those large security stickers do come off very easily and leave no residue if you just pull up very slowly.

At first I liked these slipcovers but now I've taken them all off and tossed them. I'm very particular about my collection and all those covers started bugging me.
They are pointless if they are the same as the real cover. It's a waste of paper and money IMHO.

My BB copy had a sticker on the front of the slipcase listing the features and a sticker on the back of the slipcase with the barcode. Peeled em both off without a problem.

What exactly is the function of this slipcover anyway? It's virtually exactly the same as the keepcase cover. Maybe if they had some different artwork or production notes, but it seems pointless in this case. Put inserts back into their titles instead.

I hate those damn security stickers, they've torn my Citizen Cane, Indy Jones, and countless other covers. I'd leave them on, but I don't want the black helicopters to track my movements.

yup only the new release shelf at my local CC is even tolerable. THe DVDs are a mess, they have general areas for different genres but there is uwsually stuff mixed in, it is not in good alphabetical order, etc. You have to sort through them looking at the front of the cover rather than by spine like at best buy. Best Buy gets 95% of my local business. Better shopping experience. Even the employees are rather nice there.

Toys R Us did this for all their Disney movies as well when I grabbed The Lion King and Sleeping Beauty on Friday. They peel off pretty easily though (along with the rebate stickers Disney themselves put on them).
