Some of you have your eyes up your ass.

Look at where the "Director of Photography" is placed in the frame. Different place in theatre and on the WS DVD.
The reason people remember seeing more boobs in theatre is because, there was more boobs. If you had access to a camcorded version, you would see more boobs too.
In the first shot, you can see completely her left boobs hanging..

The bottom 2 pictures look the same to me - thats why I think this framing was done intentionally to hide the nudity. So who gives a rats ass at this point...the movie has not been fundamentally changed.

I would probably put myself in the camp of censoring. It looks like many shots are re-framed that feature Loken nude. Perhaps as mentioned the director is "protecting" her. Any way it is, it is not a big deal. The boobs were not the attraction here...

Yet I know this is NOT a HO1C incident. I doubt a studio would screw up a dvd that much in this day & age....& can say without a doubt after viewing the dvd in question. It is framed exactly as it was in theaters..& does not appear 'cropped' or 'too tight' at all.

Chanster, those who didnt believe the DVD was reframed also attacked those who think otherwise.
What do you mean by that?
which may or may not be at the exact time coded etc. The most compelling evidence is the one with the title.

I remember the butt shot, and possibly some side-boob, but that full on shot was NOT in there at the theater. I agree that if you DID see it, it was projectionist error.
If they're reframing the movie for fullscreen it doesn't seem like a huge leap to think they may reposition the credits for the new version.

You see nothing. Not only is the nip covered by hair, almost both breasts are entirely covered.

People. This film was shot in Super-35. End of story. The 2.35:1 image is the correct one, regardless of what you may see in the 1.33:1 version. It's about the RIGHT version, not the version that shows more boobs.

That's not the whole issue. The issue is whether the widescreen dvd is exactly the same as the one in the theater. We all know the full screen shows more "nudity." The question is whether there was more shown in the theaters then what we see on dvd.

I can't help but point out the examples on the left in the link posted by aaryn above are not the same aspect ratio as the examples on the right from the DVD.
The examples on the left look closer to 2:1, with the examples on the right from the DVD looking more like 2.35:1.

This movie was shot in Super 35 end of story. The DVD widescreen version is correct. Here are some examples of Super 35 shot movies in both fullscreen and widescreen. Look specifically at Blast from the Past and 5th Element and you'll know why you see what you see in Fullscreen in T3.

The problem is the framing of the widescreen shown in the theater is different than the widescreen on DVD. The Widescreen DVD appears to have been zoomed in more than the theatrical showing. Full screen is not an issue here big guy.

how do you exatly know that the widescreen framing is wrong? I saw it in theaters, and don't remeber seeing any boobs of any kind, and the framing looked right to me.
