Even though it is not an official release, I'd like to see Van Halen at the US festival.

Shouldn't we see a Live Aid video someday? What a set that would make.

Does anyone remember those concerts MTV(or crap TV as I call it) used to play on Saturday nights back in the early 80's? I beleave it used to come on at 11 or 12 at night. There were some great bands that they had recorded, and to me those shows blew away those crapy unplugged(don't mean to offend, jsut think they are boaring) shows that trickle out every now and again. I think it's time for all those involved to get off thier butts, and get these great shows out on DVD. Some have been released in Brazil, like the Ozzy - Speak of the Devil DVD, which was an old MTV concert from the Diary of a Madman Tour. MTV also showed an Ozzy show from the Bark at the Moon tour, but that has never benn released at all anywhere.

They(MTV or whom ever owns the rights) have tons of stuff like that out there, hidden in vaults. Some of the shows I recall are

Both Ozzy shows, Judas Priest, Journey, Greg Kihn, The Cure, U2, Twisted Sister, The Go Go's, Pat Benater, Hewie Lewis and the News, Donnie Iris, 38 Special, Foghat, W.A.S.P., The Culture Club(yuk!), Rainbow, and the list just goes on, and on, and on.

I know not all were recorded by MTV, but I would like to see all of these great shows released, even the one by the bands I hate. Someone is holding on to a lot of great stuff, and it's time to get off of it.

I would also like to see everything ever recorded of Iron Maiden released, as well as DIO, and Rush.

EDIT:

"Even though it is not an official release, I'd like to see Van Halen at the US festival."

Oh yea, and that as well, even though David Lee Roth sound like crap during that show(I've downloaded that one). There is a DVD of Triumph at the US fest, so just maybe it will happen. Never know.

Urgh! A Music War would be good. I bought a VHS copy for $2 several years back, still have it. I would like to have The Corrs VH1 Unplugged as well.
