This week, I'm watching Family Guy: Volumes 1 & 2. Costco has them for $24.99 each, so I couldn't resist. I've only seen the show twice, on Cartoon Network's Adult Swim, and had never seen a complete episode, so this was essentially a blind buy for me. I'm only three episodes in, and I'm already hooked! What a GREAT show. Now I understand why so many people here rave about it.

The Lizzie McGuire Movie - I enjoy it very much. Love the soundtracks, love the sight of Rome .. beautiful ..

Identity - Saw it with my man. And we thought it was all about murder. We were wrong. (Or were we right about the murder thing? Argh. Don't know for sure). I had to explain the whole story to my man (in my own words) after watching, cause he was way too confused :D. Unpredictable!

To Have and Have Not (rental)- Wonderful, and the chemistry between Bogey and Becall really was special. While I like "The Big Sleep" better on a whole, I liked the relationships in this film much more.
The Meaning of Life (rental)- not my favorite MP movie, but great and hilarious all the same. Hope I can buy this soon and see all the special features.
Kill Bill Vol. 1- absolutely amazing, February seems sooooo far away... Uma Thurman was incredible, as was pretty much everyone.

The picture quality is excellent. They did a great job on the transfer. The subtitles are not very good. From what I've read, Late Autumn has the best subtitle translation of the Ozu films Panaorama has released thus far. Apparently Autumn Afternoon is pretty much unwatchable if you don't know Japanese, since large sections of the film are incomprehensible. In comparison, Late Autumn suffers from some typos and a few awkwardly constructed sentences.

You can read more about it here: http://www.ozuyasujiro.com/
