I have the official (region-free) disc from Universe (HK). The picture quality is not so great, but it goes for about $3.50 if you have it shipped from HK, so you can't really complain about quality. It does have good english subs though. (Taxi 2 is also available for the same price).

Anyone hear about a new release on this or the two sequels? I figure since the American remake is being shot maybe they will get around to proper Region 1 releases of the originals.
Or should I just break down and buy the Korean Region 0 disks from Ebay?
