It's A Wonderful Life DVD Question
Hi,
I recently ordered It's A Wonderful Life (trying to beef up my collection of my fav holiday films). Anyways, I know thedigitalbits gave raving reviews to the quality of the Republic "Silver Screen Classics" version here. The version I received is this one:
I just received it and haven't opened it yet. Can someone tell me if this is the same disc? Or, is the quality the same? I did a search first, and found several threads that dealt with this movie, but none that mentioned the differences (if any) of these two releases.
Thanks so much for any info!
Zack

I'm pretty sure it's the same disc and transfer, but with a different cover. That's the one I have and I seem to remember the quality being as good as such an old movie can get.

Great. That's what I thought. I thought I remembered reading that that was the case in a thread here or at HTF several months ago, but I searched and couldn't find it.
Thanks for your help.
