Talk about timing...
Two years ago today, Digital Bits posted in their Rumor Mill that it was one of the titles Fox was working on, and that it was tentatively planned for a 2002 release. :hscratch: Rob |
What gets me is that studios keep re-releasing titles over and over ("Charlie's Angels," "T2," "American Pie"), or they release such trivial dreck such as drive-in movie fare.
Yet when it comes to many titles that were legitimate classics or very popular with audiences, they're not available. VHS sales are fast becoming a thing of the past. With DVD the format of choice, you'd think the studios would just start putting out all of their catalogue titles on disc. How else are people supposed to view/buy them? I've got a wish list that is over 75 titles long, with many of them consisting of classic award winners. I hope they're all available someday. In the meantime, I'm sure I'll see at least 25 more versions of "American Pie" hit the market. |
I wouldn't exactly call The Good Son a "classic."
What's funny is how Wood was second fiddle in this film, and now he's a much bigger star than Culkin. |
