The Platinum titles are usually OOP by the first of the new year. Other ones are announced by Disney as going OOP.

Some apparently are always in print.

Don’t attempt to find logic in Eisner’s mind. It’s easier to find a needle in a haystack (cause the needle actually exists somewhere)

I think the go OOP on the 31st of January, not the new year.

By February 04, it will be out of print, but you should have no problem finding a copy to buy at that time.

Early 2003 you could still easily find Snow White.

Snow White finally has dried up after being OOP a couple of years. I now see that it is going for $30+. Other than the Platinum and Treasure series, are there any other hard to get Disney DVDs? I mean Mulan is OOP but it is being re-released soon. It appears that they only difficult ones are the those two series.

Whoa whoa whoa.. Mulan is being re-released?! Are you sure? I keep pretty up-to-date on these things and I haven't heard it, even on the 2004 release list floating around it mentions Mulan 2 but no re-release of the original. I'd like it though.. I finally found a copy for $15, but it ended up being used and slighty abused.

:(

My stores don't have it around here anymore. It's still 'findable' as said, but my advice to the people on these forums, is to just not wait. Who wants to go through that mess of trying to find it when its OOP anyways. In some cases you may get lucky and find a copy, but if you don't, you're going to have to start doing either some ebay or amazon shopping my friends :)

I got Snow White a couple months ago at Toys R Us for 24.99. Only one left so I snatched it up as soon as I could.
