Repli-Kate a National Lampoon title now?

DVDFile reported a few days ago that FOX is going to release a bare-bones version of the Ali Landry Weird Science wanna-be Repli-Kate under the National Lampoon banner. When did this become a National Lampoon movie? My copy has a big "From 1 of the Producers of American Pie" stamp on it, but no mention of National Lampoon.

National Lampoon "whoring out" their once-proud name? The very thought boggles the mind!

Van Wilder was supposed to be called "Van Wilder: Party Liason" and was to come out in the summer of 2001 (Tara Reid filmed it before she filmed American Pie 2). They thought it would bomb so National Lampoon got involved and it became "National Lampoon's Van Wilder" and came out in the spring of 2002....

National Lampoon "whored out" there name when they stuped to releasing garbage like Golf Punks, Men In White & Last Resort.
I only asked because I thought it was kinda odd to re-release a film with the NL banner. They didn't even do that with Vegas Vacation.
I already own the SE DVD, so no big whoop to me, but I am a completest & want to have all NL movies bundled together

in all fairness, i think they should have just left it repl-kate and let it stand on its own. it is a pretty fun, funny film, and does not need the lampoon moniker to add to it. when i think of nation lamppoon, I think of the chevy chase vacation films

I've never heard of the film, but when I read it was a National Lampoon, I considered putting it on my wish list, especially at the 9.95 SRP.
