New MY FAIR LADY dvd transfer needed?

Why would Warner restore MY FAIR LADY to its SUPER PANAVISION 70 glory than turn around and release the dvd with a 2:35 aspect ratio? I read somewhere (WIDESCREEN REVIEW) I believe, that the current dvd is from a 35mm element. I think we could do better than this and have a dvd with an aspect ratio of 2:20.

According to IMDB, the current DVD does match the original negative aspect ratio of 2.20:1.

I'm at work, but I'm pretty sure that IMDB is correct, and the DVD is great! My only compaint is the fact that they didn't include the documentary "More Loverly Than Ever" that came with the VHS collectors set (apparently WB couldn't get the rights to it) and was hosted by Jeremy Brett, Freddie in the film.

It seemed to have craploads of EE to me.... I own the current disc but would pick up a double dip with a better transfer gladly, with perhaps the film spread across one dual layer disc and the extras on a packaged in single layer discs.
