Simpsons Season 3 - "Homer Defined" Glitch?

I was recently viewing the "Homer Defined" episode on Disc 1 of the Simpsons - Season 3 box set. Anyhow, right after the usual intro, Homer, Lisa, and Bart are sitting at the table. When Homer is reading the paper the entire screen seems to shake up and down, a few seconds later it cuts to Bart and I see the same effect. Can anyone else confirm this?

Same problem here, what makes this happen?

I have it too. It must be a problem with the video master.

Mine has the same thing, but it is a very minute shake, i didn't notice it the first time (the credits are still displaying). Mine doesn't shake on Homer, but it does shake on Lisa a frame later, and then on Bart a few frames later when he's writing out Milhouses b-day card.

The "shaking" does appear to be a problem with the aging VHS masters.

It's also apparent on other episodes, if you look closely.

I noticed that family guy season 3 does that alot for me... wonder if it's the same thing

I just checked my copy. It doesn't shake when Homer is on screen. But it does when Lisa and Bart is on screen. It's only a slight shake. I didn't even noticed it when I watched that episode. You guys have pretty sharp eyes.
