A review with comments on whether the bugs were fixed on this version would be loved.

IIRC, it's nothing more than the last SE with the ability to read along with the screenplay and a litho or seriagraph or something (with pointy teeth).

There's a sticker on the package that states it also includes the ACTUAL HOLY GRAIL! And that's nice because it's been missing for such a long time.

Wasn't it actually Henry Jones Sr. that was the one to "let it go Dad...let it go"?

A classic case of "you touched it last" if ever I saw one... and yes to answer the question I have the collectors edition, it seems to work just fine...

Nope. Sr. told Jr. to let it go.

Ahhhh... I've only seen the Pan and Scan version, so Harrison Ford didn't actually appear in that scene... so I just assumed...

piggybacking disks

My opinion on this one (picked it up last nite) is thus:

Nice packaging, same construction as the Creative Design Arts' 2001, Full Metal Jacket, and Clockwork Orange SEs. However, unlike those 2-discers, this one abandons the inside-front cover digipak-esque plastic disc plate, forcing both discs onto the same tight hub.

Bad form, Columbia, or CDA. Whoever made this call. Real waste of space. Otherwise, spiffy package.

BOMM,

CS

So the discs are on top of eachother in the packaging? :\ How about the actual discs? Same bugs as the last release?

I bought the previous MP & HG SE release (Columbia 05276) which only has 1 disc in it according to the package. I have actually not opened it up, but I bought it too long ago to return it to Amazon.

I suppose I could print out each of the links below and try to match up the features between the 2 editions, but I would be most grateful if someone who has already compared them could quickly summarize the differences. That is, what extra features are included in the new set with the 2nd DVD?

Take a look again.... I have it also, and you don't have to open it to verify there are TWO discs - the back of the slipcase conveniently list the features on Disc One and the features on Disc Two.

My mistake! I remember checking my package before posting and thinking I saw it had only 1 DVD in it, but sure enough this time I see Disc One and Disc Two clearly listed. I must've had a memory lapse.

Now that I see both editions have 2 DVDs, based on other comments here I see the "new" release has the same DVD content and merely throws in a few extra items like a screenplay and lithograph. I'm glad to know my current one doesn't need upgrading. Thanks for clarifying.
