Vote for your top 5 TV shows you want FOX to release on DVD!

Just got 24 Season 2 in the mail today and it includes a new booklet advertising FOX's TV-on-DVD output. No series listed that aren't already available/announced, but there is an interesting box on the back page. It says in big letters "What FOZ TV shows do you want on DVD?" and directs you to www.foxhome.com/tv to vote, and get access to exclusive promotional offers. Shows listed include: Ally McBeal, Boston Public, Dharma and Greg, Greg the Bunny(!), John Doe, Millenium, Newhart, the Practice, the Pretender, Reality TV( ), Reba, the Simpsons (why is this listed?), Titus, Tracy Ulman Show, and Wonder Years. There are 25 total shows listed. You can vote for your top 5 (in order of preference. No options for choice of best of/season sets. This could be good for getting more FOX shows released on DVD.

My votes:
1.) GtB
2.) Tracy Ulman (for the Simpsons shorts)
3.) Boston Public
4.) Wonder Years (because I know it's a favorite here)
5.) Practice
Didn't vote for Simpsons because I didn't want to waste one of my votes on it. There's no way they won't keep releasing it in season sets. As their new ad booklet says, it's "the best-selling TV series of all time!"

Edit: after voting, it showed the ratings for each show so far (obviously not in real-time, since GtB, my #1, had a 0). Number 1 by far is Millenium with 55, nothing else has more than 19.3 (Time Tunnel). I don't know what the ratings are, but they're not percentages because adding them up, I get well over 200.

Thanks for posting this! Not much of a selection though, IMO. I voted for Dharma & Greg, Picket Fences and Newhart. I couldn't even find a #4 or #5 choice.

All about the Wonder Years, it's at 82.7 percent (of the number 1 votes?)

I wonder how many people have voted so far.

Hopefully Fox actually does something with this data and doesn't just file it away for a couple years.

Voted For (in order):

The Lone Gunmen
Wonder Years
Greg The Bunny
Picket Fences
Remington Steele

EDIT:

And, based on the results that were posted, very few people want to see:

Remington Steele
The Practice
Nothing Sacred
Chicago Hope

None of these even registered a 1.0.

Wonder Years is kicking incredible ass, but I suspect it's a bit TOO much. Is there a web campaign out there to 'stuff the ballot box'? That's what it looks like to me...

Where are you getting those choices from? Those aren't on the site when I visit it. And doesn't Warner own Flintstones?

Something's weird. When I voted the first time, Millennium was leading with 55 and Wonder Years was less than 10, I believe. Now after voting a 2nd time to test the results, Wonder Years is at 81, and Millennium is 6.9. I don't understand how the ratings are compiled.

No offense, but what a load of sucky television shows. Time Tunnel and Voyage are the only two shows that I would even consider renting, let alone buying.

(Simpsons, of course, not withstanding)

Where's Brisco County! That was a fox show too! Time to send e-mail or something.

If any of you need a fourth or fifth choice PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE vote for Nothing Sacred! Hardly anybody watched this show because it was on ABC up against Seinfeld, but this show was an incredible drama that deserves to be seen by more people. I could not believe they were giving me a chance to vote for this show!

Where is That 70's Show?

1) Greg The Bunny
2) The Pretender
3) Remington Steele
4) Newart
5) Tracy Ulman Show

I'm really hoping for Greg the Bunny to make it. I want all the Sarah Silverman possible on DVD.

Didn't Fox also produce Batman (1966)? That would be my #1 choice.

why is the Simpsons on there..?

and if I vote, will they see it as a vote for FASTER releases or just a schmuck who doesn't realize that they're already makin' em..?

I went for
The Lone Gunemen
Millenium
Picket Fences
Harsh Realm
Roswell

I really only want the first three but I know others who love the latter two so I thought I'd help them out.

The Critic is produced by Columbia/Tristar (which was prominently featured on their TV DVD poll).

Anyway, go Wonder Years, Millenium, The Practice, Newhard, and Roswell.
