Any word on when/IF there will be a Halloween 3 re-release?

Any word on when/IF there will be a Halloween 3 re-release? I was wondering, there seems to be a few on ebay, but didnt want to get an old version (overpriced version) if there was a new one just around the corner.

reason why I think there may be a re-release is near is ads on ebay saying something a pre-order for Oct 7. I havent heard anything else about this before.

EXCELLENT! thanks! I was really wanting this DVD (Why I don't know, the movies is terrible, but its a good FUN october thing for me).

I was thinking of buying the DVD, maybe in September to avoid the October rush and I stumbled upon the idea it might be re-released. Im just going to hold off and buy the new one, as opposed to paying an obscene amount for the original oop release.

Maybe a little cheesy, but I still like it.

Deep discount DVD has it for $9.35 shipped: http://www.deepdiscountdvd.com/dvd.cfm?itemID=MCA023606

And if you don't want to wait the first version is available for $6.32: http://www.deepdiscountdvd.com/dvd.cfm?itemID=GTV001023

Although it strays from the Halloween storyline completey it's not a bad movie and I enjoyed it when I first saw it but was disappointed that Myers' only appearance was on a T.V. screen.

Any idea what is different about the re-release, other than the extra minute (as per DDD)?

I know that the "old" version was put out by GoodTimes Video, who's re-releasing the new version?

I wish they'd kept in this vein and kept releasing different stories with each Halloween film instead of trotting out MM every movie.

This one will have the once-thought long-lost Halloween III trailer.
