Please help me! (Eraserhead Boxset)

For those of you who have the Eraserhead boxset, how the hell do you get the damn slipcover back on? Ive been trying for half an hour and I cant get it on? Im considering just cutting the thing open and gluing it shut again. Can someone please help me?

It just slides in. You must be doing something wrong. Are you sure the cardboard flaps are folded properly?

Although it's very cool packaging, it's also a real pain. Storing it in a keepcase is something you should look in to.

Im pretty sure they are. It all looks normal except for the fact that it doesnt fit in. Any other tips?

Yes. The box is not quite perfectly square. So: Keep the slipcover where it is, rotate the box 90-degrees, and repeat your machinations.

...If that doesn't work, I got nothin'...

Isn't anyone going to make a joke here?

Pull the carboard out a little and grab the disc edge, alot of them are in tight, pull the DVD out alittle at a time. w/out scratching (If you are Houdini) or very patient. Put it in another case. Now place the original box on the bookshelf and never put the disc near it again.

celluloid wisdom is correct, the box is not a true square so maybe you weren't trying to put it on the right end?

and as others have pointed out, store the disc in an empty keepcase rather than in that box.

And you can get my Eraserhead coverart from dvdcoverart.com if you want a cover for the keepcase. I've also got one for the Short Films as well. They're made to be complimentary...the inserts which I haven't made yet, will have more details on them.

You mean they are free...or are they are complementary - made to accent one another?

Free as in beer, or as in speech?
