Well, since the movie came out in 1976 (!) I doubt that that could Josh on the cover :) (there is a slight resemblance though...)

Yeah, I see the resemblance...

Edit: Oh wait, that was a picture of his career... excuse me.

I just wish I didn't have to look at that ugly picture everytime I go to the DVDTalk homepage.

The VHS cover isn't quite so digitally modified, and yes, it does somewhat look like him.

" You gonna be the worm face! "

I can't believe they've released this movie after it has been so beautifully trashed on MST3K. The only good part is the " Sheriff Willem Dafoe " character. The guy on the cover looks like Ace from Real World Paris.

actually the film is considered a truly chilling horror classic, accoring to horro film historians and critics, and that it didnt deserve the MST treatment, similar to how THIS ISLAND EARTH didnt deserve one either.

This is one of my favorites movies from my childhood. i can still see very vivid images of it even though it has been something like 20 years since I last saw it. Movies like this, Food of the Gods, Humanoids from the Deep, Frogs, Prophecy, Bugs, etc used to make me jump for joy when they came on TV. I actually saw a double bill of Humanoids from the Deep and Food of the Gods at our local Drive-in theater. Joe-Bob would have been proud.
