Could Charmed be coming to DVD finally?

Here is the latest from tvshowsondvd.com.
I'm still not holding my breath though.

Is this true? Can it really be coming this time?

It's been just over a year since the last rumor of Charmed DVD releases, but this one sounds pretty significant.

Figures.com, a website dedicated to "Toy and Action Figure News", has posted this article about upcoming action figures based on the Charmed characters.

At the bottom of this article we find this statement about the timing of the release of these toys:

Expect a late January/early February arrival - just in time for the "Charmed" DVD box set.

Wowsers...an unlikely spot to find DVD release information about TVShowsOnDVD's third-most-requested series. Our sincere thanks to Derek P. of St. Clair, MI; he posted this information at the Home Theater Forum discussion website. We will try to verify this with the studio, and get word to you just as soon as we can. Stay tuned!

It's a damn good thing you're not holding your breath because this is the new latest from TVShowsonDVD:
Uh oh...

Well, Figures.com changed their Charmed toy story, removing any mention about an upcoming DVD set. We also called Spelling Television and Paramount Home Entertainment and both companies said they weren't aware of a DVD set being released. So it looks like another rumor about a DVD release of the show has come and gone.

Yea.

I knew something like that would happen.

I'll believe it when I see it on the shelves.

Guess I 'll have to rely on the TNT reruns to catch me up.

The question we have to ask ourselves is, "Is it worth $30 to see a ton of nipple pokies from Shannen Doherty and Alyssa Milano?"

I believe the answer is a resounding, YES.

They really need to get with the program. This show has a whole lot of people who want to see it on DVD, myself included.
