Ong Bak - Is there a version with subtitles?

Anyone know if there is a version of the Thai movie Ong Bak with English subtitles? The only one I can find is a R3 edition without any subtitles, but had heard that one existed with English subs. Is this true? Know where I can find it?

Thanks

The only release currently available is the Thai release and it has no subtitles. You might get more replies/info about a possible HK release with english subs in the International DVD forum but as it stands not such release exists.

Woops. I actually meant to post this in the international forum. Can a moderator move this post there, as it is probably more appropriate to there?

I picked up the official Thai R3 version about a month ago, as well as the Making Of dvd over at ethaicd. The movie was like 12, and the Making Of was 10, if I remember correctly. Unfortunately there are no English subtitles, or any version currently available with them. This doesn't really detract from the movie, as it is fairly straight forward, and the action speaks for itself.

I read somewhere that the eventual publisher of the HK version wanted the English subs to be exclusive for them, which is why they were left off of the official release.
