August 27, 2003 - Warner Home Video will release a two-disc Special Edition DVD of Oliver Stone's controversial Academy Award-winning film JFK on November 11, just two weeks shy of the 40th anniversary of President Kennedy's death.

The new two-disc edition, now the third release of the film on DVD, will contain the 205 minute film in widescreen anamorphic format with a Dolby Digital 5.1 audio soundtrack. Among the special features will be Beyond JFK¸ the documentary that explores the many conspiracy theories associated with Kennedy's assassination. The documentary contains newsreel and interview footage, eyewitness accounts with many of the true-life people portrayed in the film JFK. There will also be 12 extended or deleted scenes and a commentary track by director Oliver Stone.

JFK will have a suggested price of $19.95.heres the box art

I dont think this will be worth upgrading. The current 2-dvd set is just as good.

Will JFK ever be released on SuperBullet...I mean SuperBit?

DavidH 08-30-03 08:17 AM

How could JFK be released as Superbit when it is NOT a Columbia Tri-Star movie?
